FrunkLab is the AI-powered studio for designing custom digital wraps for your Tesla. Design it, preview it in 3D, and put it on your car in minutes.
What FrunkLab is
Modern Teslas can display a custom wrap on the car's in-dash illustration, the charging screen, and the mobile app. FrunkLab is the design surface for that digital wrap. You start from your exact model, add images, AI-generated art, shapes, text, and color, then export a Tesla-ready PNG you load onto the car with a USB drive.
Think of it as a digital skin for the car you already own, not a vinyl wrap on the sheet metal. You can redesign it whenever you want.
Why we built it
A physical vinyl wrap on a Tesla runs $3,000 or more and commits you to one look for years. A digital wrap costs nothing on the free tier and takes minutes to swap. Most owners don't even know the feature exists. We built FrunkLab so anyone, with or without design experience, can make their Tesla look like theirs. What you can do
AI and manual design

Which Teslas are supported
Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck get the full studio with a rotating 3D preview. Model S and Model X are supported for design and export with a flat 2D preview. Every supported Tesla can receive a wrap file on the car itself. The current list lives in which Tesla supports what.
A note on the name
The "frunk" is a Tesla's front trunk. FrunkLab (sometimes typed FrunkLabs) is a lab for personalizing your car. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla, Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.
